Military jets forced an allegedly stolen airplane to land near the Collier/Miami-Dade County line Wednesday.<p/> The pilot had been looking to buy a plane in Brooksville, in the Tampa Bay area, according to The Naples Daily News' website. The unidentified man took the plane up for a test flight about 2:45 p.m. and didn't come back, the paper reported.

A 210-foot freighter is set to become the latest addition to an artificial reef program off Key Biscayne.<p/> According to a news release, officials plan to sink the Ophelia Brian freighter Wednesday. The vessel, previously named Sea Taxi, will become part of the Miami-Dade County artificial reef program.
