South Beach’s South Pointe Park Debut
When you get some time, take a moment to check out the newly revamped South Pointe Park at the south end of the south end of South Beach.
The renovations are truly excellent, and the park creates a great place to just sit and relax and enjoy both the ocean and the Port of Miami Government Cut.
You can get some great views of Fisher Island, Key Biscayne, the Atlantic ocean.
Photographers are quick to notice a great new spot for a shoot, with the new community center’s fake steamship stacks on the top of the structure.
The community center features a fountain with “metal snake-like” fountains that make it a cool fun spot for kids.
The park features some really cool but unnecessary features, such as these South American style ruin-esque steps, which creates an interesting arch beneath them.
The new broadwalk makes a nice place to walk your dog or coast a bike.
The broadwalk cuts through Smith & Wollensky’s fine dining,
on over to the Marina.
where you never know who you’ll run into …
